I'm looking forward to Tec #861 and the first Batman/Batwoman team-up. It's too bad that J.H. Williams III is taking a few issues off, but Jock is a great artist and it is good to see him on a Batman book. Streets of Gotham also looks interesting, but I have decided to wait for the trade on that series.

Well, the Newsarama page doesn't say January 2010 BATMAN solicits, it just says January 2010 preview. Maybe they're just holding out the B & R preview until Monday for some reason.

Aren't they skipping B&R until some supersecret revelation in BN?

I'll pull:
BATMAN #695
DETECTIVE COMICS #861
BATMAN: STREETS OF GOTHAM #8
JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #41
WORLD’S FINEST #4

Might do B&B if it's good.

They are indeed skipping Batman and Robin in December, but we were supposed to get issue 7 in January, delayed to come after Blackest Night #6, which is supposed to be coming out in the last week of December, where Diamond is otherwise talking a week off.

I hope that is indeed the case. Another month to wait seems odd, as they've said it was delayed a month to accommodate the events of Blackest Night 6, and Cameron Stewart has said he has already completed issue 7. Here was a post on his blog from September, 28th:

Quote:
I've had dozens of people ask why Batman & Robin #7 wasn't in the December solicits - I actually don't know, I don't have anything to do with that decision, the book is completely drawn so it's not because we're behind schedule or anything. I'm sure there's a valid reason for it but I'm not the guy to ask. Sorry!
So it should come out in January, barring another announcement forthcoming.

I sure hope it isn't further delayed.

Is Jock taking over Detective Comics? Or is he just filling in for JH Williams? I hope williams doesn't leave the book, his art, is like 50% of the reason to buy it

Filling in, JH Williams is going to do 12 issues of Batwoman at least.
