Default Michael Myers vs Eric Draven aka the Crow

Was watching the Crow today and it's a movie I haven't seen in a long time. I've noticed the similarties between myers and draven. If you put these two in a battle who wins?

The irresistible force meets the immovable object, is what happens.

(Although it would make a sweet fanfic or something...can you imagine a Myers victim coming back as a Crow?)

Not positive but I think Myers has a far superior damage soak.

Comic or movie Eric?

I think movie Eric is a bit too lightweight to handle Myers. Comics version Eric was putting people's faces through brick walls and no-selling bullets to the head/throat.

Er, no. Myers is tough, but he needs time to shake off a mere six slugs. Eric is shot by an entire room full of thugs with automatics, and laughs it off.

Myers is strong and would make a fight of it, but he can't really hurt Eric (assuming that pesky bird stays out of range), and goes down.

I agree with you. Problem is Eric dosnt have any showings (movie) of strength enough to harm myers. Maybe I'm thinking to one dimensionally, maybe he can immobilize him in another way?

Myers has also been hit by a speeding car, set on fire / exploded, fallen a few stories, etc

I hope your not merely referring to the Rob Zombie Mike Myers, how sad

I believe that it would be the current Meyers.

Then again that is terribly sad

The only Halloween's I've enjoyed were the two original John Carpenter ones. I have Rob's 1st remake and didn't think too much of it. Even though I enjoy alot of the actors that continually work in his movies I refuse to watch the 2nd oone. Am I really missing out?

BTW John Carpenter > Rob Zombie

I haven't seen them either.

I don't think you'll find an argument for that.

No I meant Classic Myers. that's the guy that gave me the bigges nightmare.

either version of the Crow will be fine. I was just curious because I haven't seen too many rumbles with mr. Draven.

Given Draven's propensity toward carrying a firearm in the movie, I don't see a problem with a gun being one of his standard equipment weapons. If not, then Meyers tanks his hits and carves at him...accomplishing squat until Draven manages to get the knife away from him.

Once Draven gets the knife from Meyers (and he will, eventually), he cuts Meyers into cutlets.

Didn't Draven Rip the Iron Crucifix from the Chapel rooftop and use it for a sword? That seems pretty strong.

He also has better reflexes, he caught a knife throw pretty casually and hurled it back with enough force to send the goon flying back (about 5m or so)

I think Draven is too much for Myers, he is too agile, his healing factor will tank whatever Myers has and as soon as he gets that machete he goes for the slice and dice

(For half a second when I read the thread title I thought this was Myers of Austin Powers...)

There's that as well. He did show some pretty impressive strength from time to time. And speed.

Another point in his favour. He was slapping thrown knives out the air like they were nothing and then yes, caught one.

I'll go with that. Nice stuff.

Probably Draven.

Movie Crow

Tanking/damage soak

He also survived being blown up having been at point blank range when the shop blew up. You can see the flame envelope him.

Massive gun fire from automatic weapons no less from like 10 or more armed men.

Jumping from the roof of a building and landing in a back flop, only to laugh.

A hole shot straight through the hand

Lightening strike

Strength

Dug out from 6 feet under ground after a year of the earth settling. If you watch myth busters, this is impossible by human standards.

Pulled the Metal spike out of the church roof

Shoved a sword in one motion through a table
