Default Captian Lou Super Mario vs Bob Hoskins Super Mario

(This thread is also kind of a tribute to Lou Albano, who passed away recently. RIP.)

Who is the overall best version of Super Mario in a live action form. Is it Lou from the TV Series? Or Bob from the blockbuster SMB film. I know not everyone liked the SMB movie but Bob did do a good portrayal of Mario IMO.

I liked the movie and felt Bob did a prety good job. Still, Lou is always who I think of when I think of Mario's voice, and no games with a squeeky bad Italian accent can change that.

yeah, i grew up watching lou albano's super mario. i remember seeing the super mario bros. movie as a kid and not really having strong feelings one way or the other for it. i do remember having a john leguizamo luigi action figure, though, complete w/ kuribo's shoes

Bob Hoskins did a fine job as Mario, especially with what he was given. But Captain Lou will always be Mario to me.

In his honor we should all have a moment of silence, and then everybody do The Mario.
