now its all just speculation, but what do you think will happen to the current mighty avengers book? dan slott had talked about an avengers mini, i am guessing that will be the end of his run on avengers. hope i am wrong.

kinda lame that bendis was talking about the 'big 3' founding avengers(really?cap?), when slott has been building pym into this larger character and he may be just shoved aside AGAIN.

I hope it sticks around even post-Slott. It's the only Avengers monthly I get right now.

I think you might be jumping the gun here a little bit. I wouldn't think Marvel would just yank Slott away from MA so soon after he began the run.

I think if anything Slott will probably be getting one of the big 3 as I do not belive Thor, Cap and Iron Man will all be on the same team.

No they said that the 3 will come together to take care of ulimately whatever threat is happening during the seige. Just because they're teaming up this go around that doesn't by any means guarantee that they're all going to be on the same team after seige is over with.

That's be a waste them being on one team. They should all unify together and deal with the threat and divide up in new teams. "New" could be US/NYC based, "Mighty" could continue being a glabal team and "Dark" could be a wetworks type group.

I don't know. It would be kind of weak if Siege didn't result in a reassembled Avengers.

Hard to see what place Mighty Avengers would have after the reassembling. Unless Slott comes up with a plot specific reason by then for these guys to stick together and separate.

Cap was awarded Founder status by the Avengers (I think in Busieks run, but I'm not sure), so it's not entirely out of bounds to call Steve that.

As for MA... as long as it's selling okay I suppose there's no reason to think anything will happen to that book. And it's probably a good thing that Cap and Tony aren't on it, since they would only steal Hanks Thunder.

No way in hell would Hank be leading the team if they're around.

I don't think this title will last post Dark Regin. If I'm not mistaken Slott himself said that it woudn't.

I see no reason for Mighty Avengers to stop, or for Slott to not be writing it any longer. The series has been good so far, and looks to be continuing in that direction. I just hope that Pym continues to be a hero, and not go back to being useless.

Yeah I'd be very surprised if it didn't last post-DR. See no reason for it to stop.
