Princess Sally versus Amy for Sonic
Who would personally rather see get withe Hedgehog? I myself grew up on the Sat AM Sonic The Hedgehog and the Archie Sonic The Hedgehog comics, to me she always came off as suitable to him for what he needs to have in a romantic relationship-- that and she's as naked as he is, that gives them both something to work on and have in common from the start by default.

Always been a Sally fanboy, and I probably always will be.
...That being said, I wouldn't mind a Sally/Sonic/Amy menage a trois for a solution.  Edit: More seriously, there's the fact she's just better written as a character, with an actual personality beyond being a stereotypical Tsundere.

Not much of a fan of either, actually, but I suppose I actually kind of despise Amy (look, she's also a hedgehog, but PINK!, and she's not a stalker, really, she's just Sonic's Number One Fan! Hahaha, isn't it funny how she's always chasing after Sonic, and Sonic always runs away from her? LAWL!!!), whereas Sally seemed to actually have a good repetoir with Sonic, was treated more like Sonic's equal, and considering she was actually the real leader of the Freedom Fighters and had bigger concerns than chasing Sonic's dust, I'd say she's more respectable.
Course, I'm a stronger supporter of the opinion Sonic doesn't need a girlfriend in the first place.

Admittingly, Amy is a bit less of a one-joke character in the Archie Continuity, although she's still obsessed with Sonic.
