I didn't watch a lot of "Charmed" but, from what I did see, Charmed demons stomp. Some of them required the Power of Three to stop.

Cole laughed at it.

I mean, literally. They used prep to create three specific potions that they each threw in turn while using they power.

They blew up his apartment with that, the result was that his clothes and hair were mildly out of shape and then he laughed at them.

Time Travel to kill him before he got that strong also didn't work.

Really, this is an atrocious stomp no matter how you look at it. Even if it was just him and not him and every other demons on the show.

Yeah, well that sounds bad, I was thinking that maybe if Buffyverse had say D'hoffryn(sp?) a reality warper they'd have a shot but not against someone whose retcon proof.

Tempus can create a timeloop which would restart whenever the demons lose, anyway. (And they'd keep the memories)

And at least one had superspeed. (Lost through PIS, naturally.)


Incidentally, this just says Vampires, so Buffyverse demons are out. Which is even worse.:rolleyes:

Yeah, It's a brutal curbstomp I was just hoping Buffyverse could have a chance but even their top-tiers get smoked.

To get technical, Cole at his strongest wasn't really a demon, he was something more. Still, even in his demon form he could take the vamps down, also in his source form.

Even the low level demons are a pretty big threat. Fireballs, always some form of teleportation, usually immune to conventional weapons, and usually a unique power.

Yeah, they actually had to cast a spell that froze time in order to see him the first time. Although in losing he did actually succeed in killing most of the charmed ones, it's just that Leo raised them from the dead.

Post-Avatar aside, he was technically just a super demon.

Even then, the Avatar stuff just seemed to give him time travel.

He could warp reality too. He changed it so that Paige had died. Of course it isn't useful in a fight because he has to put a bit of effort into it. He only lost because of a plot device. Said plot device doesn't even make sense considering the way Avatars were later on treated. The Avatar even said they exist out of time, so why didn't Cole retain his Avatar powers(and thus, unkillable save for a rare potion) when he changed history? That always ticked me off.

I thought he just killed Paige himself?

I mean, he still had his memories, given that the other Avatar tried to convince him to come back.

I imagine he retained his memories since he was the one who altered reality. He didn't kill Paige, he just changed history so that she died as a baby.

Not exactly. Their reasoning was that when Cole changed reality and set it so it was at a time a few years earlier, so technically Cole would not of picked up his demonic powers. That, I suppose, I could sort of understand, even though you'd think since he altered reality he'd keep his powers. The trouble is, Avatars exist outside of time, which means he would still retain those powers. In that state, the potion probably would of worked on him, but nothing else would of.

The writers basically had to alter the rules of the Charmed universe in order to kill him.

I always thought he'd just killed her off before she met Phoebe and Piper. Must've misremembered.

We don't really know, aside from the fact that he could command other demons, teleport between what I assume to be dimensions, and stop time(To intercept an energy ball without anyone noticing, if memory serves).

Probably because they realized how badly they'd screwed up by making him that strong.
