Angelus is bored and decides he's going to terrorize a random town. Low and behold the town happens to be yours.

Angelus arrives just as the sunsets. After Angelus kills some woman everyone is alerted that a serial Kkller is in town.

The plot Gods have cut-off all outside communication to force you and your neighbourhood to fend for themsevles. Additionally, the plot gods have decided this test will take place within a 30-50 block radius scope.

Your job is to protect the people of your neighborhood and survive the night.

Angelus is in character, but has been informed if he successfully slaughters you and most of the residents of your neighbourhood he will gain some prize he's always wanted.

Note: You and you alone know the threat is a fictional vampire, but can only guess at the weakness it may have from pop-culture and such. So, good luck convincing everyone a vampire is after them!

This night will Last 24 hours....

My neighborhood is called Sunnydale.

the majority of my neighbors are dicks anyway, so if they don't believe that one of the deadliest vamps that ever lived was on the loose, that's on them.

as for me, i stay inside for 24 hours. hell, i could leave the door wide open and listen to my neighbor's screams, if i was feeling dickish. maybe order a pizza, see if it ever finds its way over here. see, i don't know if you're aware of this or not, but angelus/angel can't go into a house uninvited. he is absolutely zero threat to me (or anyone, unless they invite him in) at all...

EDIT: unless he burns my house down... in which case i run to the backyard, jump the fence and break my way into my neighbor's house. not sure if the whole inviting thing extends to backyards or not, actually. if he can go into backyards, then he'd blitz me eventually, as i run from house to house. it would likely take the national guard to bring this guy down if it came down to it- he's taken down wolfram and hart's equivalent to a SWAT team with ease. no single human being stands a chance against him.

I'm the only one who knows it's a fictional vampire, so I tell all the Heros it's a Real Vampire.

Everything that ywould beat a vamp in our universe would be overkill on Angelus.

He'll be dead as soon as anyone sees him.

I just don't invite him in.

I phone everyone I care about and tell them not to invite anyone in.

I also tell them (and do the same myself), that in the case of someone trying to drive you out of your house (such as by causing fire), ensure you're carrying a crucifix.

Pretty sure I survive this night comfortably.

Is he a bullet timer? I don't remember. If he is I just wouldn't let him in. If he's not I'd try to shoot him with my shotgun....and not invite him in.

no, but i seem to remember wesley trying to shoot angelus with a shotgun when he fought faith for the second time. he couldn't tag him. regardless, your best bet is to just not let him in, as your bullets aren't going to stop him for long. actually, at that range (your doorstep), he's quick enough to blitz you before you pull the trigger.

i would be extremely worried if all i had going up against angelus was a crucifix...

I don't think so... he's been shot before. I'm sure he could aim dodge well enough if he knew it was coming.
