Hellion’s Romantic Interest In X-23
When I was first introduced to Hellion last year, I got the impression that Julian Keller was the sort of boy who slept with all the pretty girls in his high school and then wrote about it on his blog. And he did not disappoint me in this exchange:
 So my question is this. Considering Julian ‘Hellion’ Keller propensity to be mean and judgmental to people, who are not his ‘friends’. And his not to favourable opinion of women. How long do you think that he will maintain a romantic interest in Laura/X-23 (assuming he has any) when he finds out that she used to sell her body on the streets? |

Why cant you handle the fact Hellion & X-23 have a thing?
Like, you don't like him, thats fine, W/E. But you can't change it, that it's a fact. So why not just accept it instead of trying to make out like it's not as important as it is? It's pretty transparent what your intentions are with this thread, ya know? |

Should Julian and Laura ever enter a romantic relationship, i hope they do but always in motion the future is, this is going to be an very interesting road bump for them to navigate. Laura's done a lot of things in the past that are not very pretty. And Julian is going to have to understand that and let the past be the past. Focus on the present and dream of the future, this holds true especially for comic book characters. Julian currently IMO is a character who's character is constantly changing. Some time like in the pic u posted he reverts back to his old jocky self, but in the latest X-Force he shows major concern for Laura's well being. He like every character in the X-Men has plenty of room to grow, and while yes he has his major faults, he does have some very admirable qualities to him too. Especially his loyalty to his friends. Sure he can act like a major douche bag, but to be honest besides Wolverine or Deadpool i'd want Julian to have my back if shit went down.

But then she back stabbed him at the end of NXM. He's got a great brother/sister relationship with Cessily and he gets along with Sooraya great. Sure him and Surge can argue but they respect each other. He cared a LOT about Sophia and he cares a lot about Laura too. So his whole treats women like dirt dosent play out very well.

The thing is, from the posts i read, Mia seems to hate certain characters for imo, petty, personal reasons. She would be quick to point out that Hellion is a not good enough for Laura, because he flirts, but seems to forget that fact that he saved her life and MANY OTHERS. I think the point of the Hellion/X-23 interest or insinuations of a possible relationship is to prove the fact that he is not merely a two-dimensional douche. Laura might soften his character a bit and give him more humanity. It's called character development and good/interesting writing.
