Default Will Peter go to Hell?

(sorry for my english)

so, let's say tommorow, fighting rhino, spider-man dies.
does he go to hell? i don't know if mephisto is supposedly the ruler of hell, in the MU, and if he is, the answer is obvious, he goes to hell.
but even if he is not, let's say there is a God and a Devil, in the MU, can peter go to heaven after a faustian deal, event if it's not with THE Devil, but only A devil?
plus, he did make the bargain against his marriage, which is an holy sacrament, and a promise under God, in christian religions. and it's not like he just divorced, which would be a sin already, if he was catholic, but he gave the sacrament to a devil, which is a major sin in any religion, i guess.

so, i know that the writers probably never even considered it, and i, personnally don't even believe in heaven or hell, but in the context of the MU, is there even a possibility that peter could go to heaven?

and also, extra question, who would think iit would be a cool idea for a story, like the one in which pete had to fight for the soul of kraven? like he dies, heroes fight for his soul, and bring him back from hell, with its marriage...okay, i know, i'm alone in this.

I Must admit that though has cross my mind ever since he and MJ made the deal in OMD. I mean even if it was for noble reasons, he still commited a sin and gave in to the temptation of evil.

If Spider-Man is sent to Hell then there is absolutely no hope for the average man on the street to escape that same fate. The MU as a whole would be absolutely doomed.

Peter might go to Hell at some point (has he already?) during the course of an adventure or something, and I've no doubt that he'll cross paths with Mephisto at some point to resolve OMD, but being sentenced to an eternity in Hell?

No way. Mephisto doesn't have any claim on Peter's soul anyway.

Mephisto made it clear in the deal that he wasn't interested in Peter's soul for whatever reason.

Even people that HAVE made deals with the devil can redeem themselves with good deeds, something Spider-man has done.

If merely making a deal with a devil sends you to hell, Spidey will be in god company as Jean grey, Invisible Woman, Dr. Strange, and a large chunk of the Avengers have made deals with various devils over the course of their careers.

Well two women nearly having affairs with very agrressive men, Dr. Strange is magical so I guess he doesn't count and all those Avengers well it too much to count.

I think we're all already in Hell, having to read this 3X reboot and no other choice but this.

Seriously, i don't know if Peter will go to hell or not, although he DID do the ultimate evil deed, in creating this new world.

Seriously? You don't think that's even exaggerated a little? At worst, he subtracted a little love from the MU. There are mass murderers in Peter's world. Complete psychopaths who do what they do for no reason at all. Peter gives up a relationship in exchange for a life and that's the ultimate evil deed?

Along the same lines, I highly doubt that if they ever went there (which Marvel won't) Peter would be going to hell. His soul was never on the table and there's much worse than him out there - at least he's always trying to do better and making an effort. You have to figure he's earned some holy brownie points.

I was unaware you HAD to read a book you don't like 3X a month. Does someone from Marvel follow you, force you to buy it and then force you to read it?

You could, you know, NOT read it. Or read Ultimate Spider-man or Marvel Adventures Spider-man.

I will agree with one thing though, we are in hell. Having to listen to the same people list the exact same over exagerate complaints (when those complaints aren't just totally fabirciated) about a book they claim to hate but seem to know far too much about to even suggest they don't read is a pretty good definition of hell.

Yeah, he will. He rejected God's own visitation to him. No other Marvel character has done that.
