Stark: Osborn has ruined his life, taken his job, stole his armor, turned his dream upside down, made a mockery or his Initiative, and made him look like a coward to the world.
Parker: Osborn has ruined his life, continues to mess with him, killed his GF, kidnapped his aunt, and all kinds of other nasty things So...would you be more satisfied if Stark brought Osborn down or Parker?

Actually I would like to see Steve Rogers take him down. But if I had to pick one, I guess Stark though I don't see that happening.
My perfect set up would be a knock at Osborn's door and Osborn just sneers at the disturbance and as he turns around to yell he sees Stark, Steve and Thor all standing there and Steve says, "Your number's up Osborn." Realisticly the only way to get the public to back a move against Osborn would be through Steve. Osborn said himself that his first act as top cop would not be attacking Captain America no matter who is wearing the mantle. |

I voted Parker, but seriously... I don't think it needs to be one of them. He's a big enough problem to the whole MU that everyone is (or should be) involved. I don't think it matters as much who takes him down, and I think it'll end up being a team effort anyways.
That said, Stark's a ****er who doesn't deserve any sympathy after the crap he pulled in Civil War. (Yes, still pissed ).

I think it's best if he takes himself down. The whole 'evil is self-defeating' thing would work well here. He'll lose because he just can't keep up the facade of being a hero. If you need to have people actually exposing him, then Ben Urich and Peter Parker (as a reporter, not as Spider-Man) would work.
Also, Coldstar, don't blame Iron Man for his actions in Civil War, blame bad writing. Honestly, people that have been such good friends for so long come that close to killing one another that quickly? Without even trying to start a dialogue? The extreme characterizations in Civil War made The Punisher seem like a reasonable guy. (I'm still a little pissed too.) |

here, here.....thats exsactly how i feel. millar ruined iron man in alot of people's eyes, & now fraction is trying to reedeem him somewhat....i hope its works. as for who....i think tony & pete should tag team him....but the steve angle works too. but i really think osborn will do himself in....and tony & pete will be standing there when it happens.

i think it will be Dr. Doom who takes out Osborn, and the heroes will have to band together to defeat doom and loki. But out of those two i would hope that Stark takes him out for stealing his armor.

After Osborn and Buckys stare down in the Avenger Free Comic Book, I'd say thats how Bucky might finally earn his chops in the universe. We might have Civil War fight Mk II.

A combo of Stark shutting down his armor, and Parker putting a boot in his ass would be nice.
Then when they go to take him in alive, Songbird blows his head up.

I too would like to see Steve Rogers put him down, but i feel Parker is the man who will and should do it. Osborn is a spidey villian, THE spidey villian. What better way to expose him than a slugfest on national TV where he comes across as this demented murderer so wrapped up in his torment of spider man, that he loses it in front of millions. Stark needs to be the outcast for a bit, the guy who comes back to the heroes hoping for forgivness, not getting redemption. Sure Osborn perverted his dream, but this wouldnt have happened if Stark hadnt started a government army in the first place. (yes i know its because Millar is a hack when it comes to his american political views, but it did happen)

while Spidey deserves it i think Tony will be the one to do it. Simply for the reason that he is destroying Tony piece by piece and its great to write a comeback story, while Spidey is still going good even with Osbourne presence and unless they try to kill MJ, or May (again) i dont see him taking revenge, but i do see Stark getting back at Osbourne for destroying his company/dream.
