Wally West: See?! And the same crap is gonna happen to me. I'm gonna be in the back with swiggly lines as a face while friggin' Barry's hand will have big presence on-panel.

Barry Allen: On that note, Wally, you need a new costume and new code-name. I'm back, bitch. So go back to being Kid Flash or something?

Hal Jordan: And you're kicked out of the Justice League since we're here now. You guys can join the *snigger* Titans. HAHA!

Kyle Rayner: That's it!

Wally West: It's on now!


Both teams can only have Post-Crisis showings.

Wally is at his peak during the Morrison age.

Kyle has his old, no yellow weakness, no 24 hour rule, ring during the Morrison age.

For Hal and Barry, only post-Rebirth feats are allowed since their history was retconned.

The two flashes take the rings of the two GLs and knock them out, so it's between them.

Wally has shown ability to steal speed, barry has not, Wally wins.

Yes. I'm sure Barry is supposed to be able to do the things Wally does but the whole speed force thing was retconned into continuity after Barry was gone so he hasn't actually done them on-panel. Meaning the team with Wally on it wins. Unless of course the GL rings are fast enough to auto-protect them. In that case, since GL rings can attack from huge distances and cover large areas, then the team with Hal on it wins.

Unless Hal is willing to destroy the planet, the Flash can dodge whatever he throws, very easily.

Also, you stated a GL ring's capabilites, but said that the Hal team wins. Kyle's ring has all the same abilities, really what you should be saying is that the GLs provide the advantage, but even that isn't really true.

Wally steals speed from Barry and knocks him out. Kyle and Wally Vs Hal? Hal would at least have hands hands full with Kyle alone. With Wally there it's quick and brutal.

what can a flash do to an aerial opponent? if the GL's start in-flight, i see it as big of an advantage to them as it would be for the flashes if the fight started on ground...

They've done super jump type stuff before, for one. Cyclone flying to.

ah... that sounds like it makes a lot of sense. :rolleyes:

seems like the GL's are irrelevant, then unless they start in space and the battle is entirely up to who is the better flash. barry has too few significant feats post-crisis to make this fair, i would think.

I was making the assumption that all of Barry's feats count, even PC since all his adventures until his return were PC yet they supposedly happened. But because the speed force was retconned in, there's no feats where he's speed stealing or doing Infinite Mass Punches that I know about.

I wonder..would the speed steal work on a Green Lantern? Not that he needs it, although it would come in handy if the GL did start the fight flying.

Yeah. It's not really a dangerous threat, so the ring's AI wouldn't block it just to keep him alive. And Wally's frozen people's thoughts with it to. It's actually a fairly reliable way to by pass their defenses, I think.
