....because paying more attention to the schedule they're timed to come out during a certain part of the schedule.
The Titans, Batman and Superman minis all end in October (3 issues each, all released in August). I presume the next batch of BN minis (Wonder Woman, Flash and...JSA, was it?) is out in December, so they they end the same month BN #8 is released. So if these crossover issues (JLA, Booster, Doom Patrol, Outsiders, Adventure Comics, REBELS) are the only issues of this kind that DC does, it's just to fill a lull in November. ........I can dig that. Plus according to BleedingCool.com, DC has upped the amount of rings retailers can order with 25 copies of these crossover issues (100 rings, instead of 50), without upping the minimum order of comics, so as not to choke smaller retailers with having to order extra issues of these comics that may not sell, so if this is the only batch of comics they have to worry about, it's much less of a pain for retailers now...

Some of the November crossover issues are going to see those stories extend into December. I've already seen it stated that the December REBELS will be Blackest Night-related, and Dan Didio mentioned that Teen Titans #78 (also coming out in December) will be as well. Good bet that a few of the others will as well.

I really respect DC for the way they're handling Blackest Night. Its organized, well written/drawn in all aspects (GL, BN mini, satellite titles), and most of all, a damn fun concept.
