Well, he can certainly take just about any peak human. He's sure tougher than Ultimate Henry Pym. But then again, the real Charles Nelson Reilly was tougher than Ultimate Henry Pym. He's got a decent enough combination of powers to do well against most mid-tiers. If one power doesn't stop them, he's got another or two that likely will.

Yeah I was thinking about that one. Pretty mild compared to comic book geniuses like Reed Richards but still, it means he's very smart and scientifically knowledgeable giving him an extra edge against mid-tiers with prep.

Come to think of it, the first thing I ever saw him on was the series, "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" in the 1960s. Wow. He seemed so wimpy but he was clearly holding back in not kicking Captain Daniel Gregg's non-corporeal butt.
