Default Do you see a problem with this in the MU??

So flipping through my comics here in the last few weeks I've been noticing something. All of these hero's are gigantic and muscular. I can see Wolverine being huge, with his heavy skeletal frame and metablolism healing his muscles, but all the other guys just get bigger and bigger *looks at Cable and Bishop*. Are our heros on steroids? Has anyone asked Jose Canseco if he saw them being injected in a clubhouse somewhere? I see no other logical explanation. They preach morals and honesty to us and our children; while they get bigger and stronger with each passing year. I'm for Bud Selig and his boys getting involved, and putting an asterisk behind their name when they go to the Superhero Hall of Fame.

I know someone won't take this as a joke, but it is.

Men that congressional hearing would be hysterical!

Now think about this. Antman, every time you see him he is either huge or smal and he beated his wife in an act of rage. What you wanna bet he has ant-size testicles.

I think '90s comics were a lot worse when it comes to buff characters

Steriods is a huge problem that won't go away because we demand so much from our athletes. As far as Cable and Bishop, they are both around 6'7" 300lbs and their physiques are linked to their respective mutant abilities. Plus they keep themselves in peak conditions. I can't imagine them being drawn any other way.

I forgot to put the Oliveti versions of them in there. That's what I was talking about, I love that guys' artwork but he makes everyones biceps the size of fishbowls even without power ie Frank Castle. That'll work for when he draws Incredible Hulk soon.

Yeah that's true....dunno if you read any Deadpool titles right now, but a prime example of that is an issue from a week or two ago where they added an old story at the end of the issue. Deadpool was a block of muscle lol

"Beated" ?
And no. He didn't. He gave her one slap with the back of his hand.
Bitch deserved it. She wouldn't make him a sandwich after sex

Most of these heros got their 'roids from their usual dealer, Liefield. He was the pimp daddy of superhero steroid use.

So I guess that means Cap would never be allowed to play professional baseball then.

Not only is he in on steroids in that picture, it also looks like he has breast cancer.

....oh, it's a Liefield drawing. Now it makes sense why it doesn't make sense.

I like that they are drawn that way. The female characters are also drawn with muscles or just perfect curves. Its comics. Thats the way they should be, IMO
