But this wasn't the first time Rodell Vereen has been charged with buggery. He pleaded guilty last year to having sex with the same horse after owner Barbara Kenley found him in the same stable and was sentenced to probation and placed on the state's sex offender list.

Yup, it was a true story called Zoo about some dumbass who was trampled to death while trying to rape a horse.

I recall something similar happening in Washington state a few years ago. It was particularly infamous since one bestiality video from this incident depicted a man having sex with a horse. The man later died from injuries sustained from this act (which leads me to believe he was catching rather than pitching with the horse *shivers*).
I remember watching a Channel 4 documentary about an infamous bestiality video titled "Animal Farm" and one of its primary performers, Bodil Joensen. It was one of the most depressing made-for-TV documentaries I've ever seen and probably will ever see.

I'm sure if a type of animal exists, and is docile in nature, some idiot has had sex with it.
Gross, but then again we're a pretty gross species sometimes.

if humanity ever gets serious about colonising other planets, I really hope we work out a way to keep the zoophiles out of the first-contact team. Nothing screws up negotiations with an alien race faster than having your science officer bend an alien diplomat over the hood of the lander and then start reenacting the love scene from Deliverance.

I wouldn't recommend the film, although they did get input from quite a few of the real people involved, the structure of the film (and the horrible re-enactments -- not of the actual deed, but what happened after and leading up to the arrests) make it very difficult to watch. Honestly, it flips back and forth in time so much, and with so many "arty" effects, it simply doesn't work as a film. As the entire "original" encounter was filmed, it's actually a little surprising this doesn't make it into the film (although I suppose that would make it a "snuff" film, since the guy died). . but it's been on the net for a long time. a google search would likely find the actual incident. .and yes, it's difficult to watch.
