Steve and Peter are small fries.

This will quickly turn into Thor, Iron Man, and Hulk V SOLDIER.

Genesis can bust out summons like Ifrit, Bahamut, and Bahamut Fury.

However I think ultimately Thor and Hulk take the win.

Ultimate Cap isn't small fries.

Given the competition, he is.

I don't think anyone in SOLDIER has the damage output to put down the Hulk or Thor. Though they're agile/fast enough to stay out of reach for a bit it's only a matter of time before they're put down.

How destructive was Bahamut? was it a city buster? The only one i remember was the one from the movie and he didn't really do much

Not for very long. Thor's a bullet timer IIRC.

Well so is Cloud. But it doesn't matter. Eventually they will be hit and when that happens they're down for the count

I know, just pointing out that it's not bullet timers vs statues here.

In Ultimates 3, Spider-Man apparently 'joined' the Ultimates.

Yeah, I apologize for mentioning Ultimates 3.

Anyway, while the Final Fantasy characters aren't as strong as Thor or the Hulk, they do have considerable strength. I recall Sephiroth striking hundreds of tons of concrete and sending it flying into the air with physical strength alone. Cloud also hit Bahamut so hard it sent the winged beast crashing into the ground. Zack, Angeal, and Genesis all held their own against Sephiroth. So they're strong in their own right.

With their incredible strength, speed, and attacks, I felt the Final Fantasy characters had a few advantages here and there. And if they managed to defeat Captain America and Spider-Man (who are fast and agile in their own right) quick enough, it'd give 'em better odds against Thor, Iron Man, and the Hulk.

Is the Hulk a bullet timer?

If by 'Send Bahamut crashing into the ground', you mean 'Slice the guy to death and let gravity handle the rest', sure.

Oh, and Zack, Angeal and Genesis holding their own against Sephiroth? If you consider the guy laughing his ass off and basically shrugging off anything they throw at him as 'holding their own', sure.

I don't recall Sephiroth launching over a hundred tons of concrete into the air. He was slashing buildings apart though.

mmm...don't think so he was cool. but powerwise he was really agile with peak human strength and super tactic skills. Compared to his teammates Thor and Hulk he's kind of irrelevant. I don't honestly think he could take any one of the soldier's one on one.

MU Cap is tactically smart, really agile, and peak human. Ultimate Cap was above peak human. He is one of the few characters that got more powerful in Ultimate verse.

He was kicking the Hulk and hurting him, and battling to a basic standstill to a very very powerfulful skrull.

I'm not really seeing how that stops a bullet timer from chopping him into bits.
