Yeah you're right there is. But there's also a huge gap between the Osborn that fought Spidey regularly and the Osborn that now polices the planet. He has a ton more at his disposal and with that has to come a much bigger ego that makes him think he can win anything. And considering he is the director of HAMMER and he has his own Avengers and his "secret weapon" and so on, he has a legit shot at winning this battle which in the end will probably just inflate his ego that much more.

I haven`t read much of DR so bare with me. For example i have browsed thru dark x-men, he has info on all of them and knows how to push them. He is aware of Skrulls at the start of SI. Somehow knows that Cap. Marvel is a Skrull. Manages to "convince" Sentry joining him. IIRC in Avengers forced Luke to make some deal due to his kid being missing. In Initiative forces one of NW to betray his teammates by offering him his brother.

That is all i remember now, but point is that he was shown as knowing where to press other characters so that they would work with him or for him. So it is stupid that he doesn`t know anything about norse god who is sitting near him while having info on every small time thief. But maybe it`s just me.

I'd imagine SHIELD/HAMMER doesn't exactly have super-detailed files on the Asgardian realms and entities (and even if they did, it's not like Norman can be bothered to read every single file they have on every single thing).
Of course he can`t read every file but it fcking makes sense to read about a God who is sitting next to you and is know for, well, being not very reliable.

Anyway, why are we even arguing about this? We don`t have words for those pages yet, maybe Loki is telling that to someone else or Norman himself shows that he has read about Loki`s mythology and knows what he wants.

Have to agree with fellow posters that it is very reminiscent of the Blackest Night color spectrum, but still looks good!

I miss Female Loki.

To me it seem like something new was going on with Thor.

Now it's just Thor's costume ,is the only new thing that's going to say new than retreading the same old stories.

Thor Series, has come full circle.

That doesn't also make him read everything about the subject 'Norse worlds', he probably read about Loki himself, perhaps allies and enemies, Asgard itself and maybe the frost giants land from where he come from. Certainly whatever info HAMMER had about those subjects were superficial at the best, specially after Tony's little virus. And most assured, whatever he may have read is nothing nearly close to what Loki knows about it.

I personally wish they explore one aspect of Asgardians (and all related worlds): they're millenniums old, people like Surtur and Odin (as dead he can be) can't even have their age counted with only thousands, these guys didn't last this long for nothing and their reasons are much deeper than mortals... Alright, I am already going to be discontent in regard to this, I am asking too much.

Actually, I was kind of wondering this as well. I kept looking for previews with lettering because the way it was being talked about, I thought there was definitely a lettered preview of this. So we should just wait and see what it says first.

Wait a minute, the H.A.M.M.E.R. fall on Asgard and Thor. Sneaky Bendis.

Actually, that's pretty much Marvel's plan (well, at least Joe Q's). SIEGE is really just an Avengers event, though Marvel is making a big deal of it because it is the end of Dark Reign.

From what I understand, there will be no line-wide events for at least a year; just family events, like Fall of the Hulks or Realm of Kings.

The Falls of the Hulks. I don't know why, but I always get surprised by Marvel stupidity. In this case, how can a stupid Loeb sh!te, become a whole event? Rulk title is one of the most non-sense things on the market, and sometimes I can't believe that people actually buy this. It's a sign that there's no crisis in economy!
