If I remember correctly Thor is the only one who could let him out. Thor offered but Odin declined.

if memory serves me correctly, i believe it was the beyonder who showed up in the new avengers series and we all know Bendis is one for his own continuity...so im sure that since the beyonder never came up again...that he is most likely a very important candidate

That was an Illuminati book, from that series, but it was Bendis.

I wonder why Norman Osborn looks like Harry Osborn in that pick.

If I had to guess from the teaser, I would go with Mephisto or The Beyonder.

But, the gem raises a lot of questions. Did Norman aquire the gem before SI?
I mean the Norman Osborn rules the world thing is weird, and kinda hard to take in the first place. Having very limited control of the Reality gem would explain a number of things. Everytime he used it he would go a little more insane, so it would be very limited. Hope its a good event, bringing multiple plot threads together with this one.
Or it could all just be what it is, a teaser.

That's not an infinity gem...that teaser is just a bunch of images cut and pasted together. In the original image that "gem" is an X-badge..the pic of osborn is just an altered cover for Dark X-men.

But what if it /is/ an Infinity Gem... the lost seventh gem from the Ultraverse... and the mysterious caped figure is Prime... yeah, it all makes sense now...

I am convinced that the Sentry IS the Beyonder. Or at least he was created by the Beyonder. In fact, I think the Beyonder has been a factor since the "Disassembled" storyline. If you read carefully, I think it is possible to conclude that Bendis has planted the seeds to this.

And remember: "Robert Reynolds" could be an anagram for "RR Lost Beyonder" meaning Robert Reynolds is the lost Beyonder.

I've always been on the fence regarding Bendis' writing but if this theory proves to be true, I'll have to give him total props.

Or maybe the guy who modeled his Norman on is really thin. After Tommy Lee Jones(Deodato) and Julian McMahon(Mayhem), maybe Jae Lee's model is Doogie Houser.
