Default Someone who knows about Superman\Batman

1.What are Superman stand alone feats ?

2.Is the sneezing,for real or PIS ?

3. So with so many versions is pretty hard to debate ?

4. I heard silver age comic,are bad writhing ?

5. I read a comic Batman 147,where he had trouble with a cactus, while the gang-lords gets away. He ask Robin how can they get rid of a cactus.

6.Batman and Superman are to sometimes to weak, sometimes to strong, which on to follow.

7. So i like JLU because there are version of Superman and Batman that are pretty much stable.

8.To many: Golden Age,Silver Age,Modern Age.

Not sure I understand the question. Do you mean what are his best solo feats? If so, I'm not sure, but probably somthing SIlver Age related.

What sneezing?

No, just pick which version you mean. Or go with a composite.

Well, it depends, but generally speaking, yeah, a lot of it is very dated, with cheezy dialogue, and stories can often be more about the spectacle of showing off a character's powers rather than coming up with a genuinely clever plot. A lot of crazy and really imaginative stuff was being slung around in the Silver Age, but the writing of the time could often leave something to be desired.

OKay. What did Robin say?

Powers in comics tend to fluctuate all the time for lots of characters, simply due to the bajillions of writers out there.

Right. Mainly because they have one team working on it the whole way through, making sure everything stays pretty consistant. Give the show to a completely new creative team halfway through, and chances are they'd have higher or lower showings as the new team sees fit.

Yeah, well, that's what happens when you have characters that have been around for 80+ years of nigh-constant publishing.

Chucking a neutron star into the next galaxy. Heat vision welding together cracks in reality. Moving so fast that he rips out of the multiverse and nearly flies into Heaven destroying everything.

Oh, that wacky Silver Age

Sneezing out a solar syatem? It hapened, but he was effected by magic sneezing powder, so it probably doesn't count.

I repeat, "Oh that wacky Silver Age".

Sometimes/ Like everything, there's as much good as bad. It's really cheesy though.

He should have thrown it at the Ten-Eyed Man. Two birds with one stone.

That's just to make the stories more fun. Just go with the flow.

Actually, the characters fluctuated a lot between their individual series and the JL series. And even there, Supes was written as an absolute wuss for Season one.

Supes is 70 years old, Bats is just slightly younger. The Gold/Silver don't apply to them, it applies to the major shifts in the entire comics industry, which they've just happened to live through.

I honestly think it's awesome when the trend shifts from "rash of grouped complaints about the Sentry" to "rash of grouped complaints about Superman", this way I can point to these instances if someone ever notes feeling I'm particularly biased for Marvel.

You don't come off as anything so much as asking really leading questions here, but, to dive into some anyway...

No, there's post crisis Superman, who is the modern Superman, and pre crisis Superman, who is the Silver Age Superman. They put all the Golden Age stuff on the Superman of Earth 2, who is another dude.

So that's 2.

3. So with so many versions is pretty hard to debate ?
No, it's pretty easy to debate. The much more powerful Pre Crisis Superman is separated from Post Crisis Superman by Crisis on Infinite Earths, which restarted time and retconned history, so you just pick one of two.

A guy with a link in his signature about how Magneto can take Black Bolt's scream and kill him based on a showing against Dazzler complaining about Batman and Superman having moments of being "too strong" is doing that thing of throwing stones in a glass house.

We go by consistent high end showings within reasonable context, like we always do.

So does that mean BB's scream can take down Mag's shield?
