Just read this again... Damn this was pretty good
Characterization of the Bat was top notch. Showed him being (somewhat) casual and humorous with the Bat-family, but he really cuts loose on the bad guys (Psycho bat!). Willingham also writes an AWESOME Alfred in the Robin issues And superb art from Pete Woods too. Overall, a really good read WE NEED MORE LIKE THIS DC

Well I agree about the characterisation. It was spot on. Rucka and brubaker can write batman perfectly IMHO.
But I felt that story was BLOATED to bits. I could chop out so much from that story. So much crap collected with it. Not bad, much better than WAR CRIMES. Which came after WAR GAMES, which in turn came after WAR DRUMS.

Agreed. Loved the Bat, but my favourite part was how Tim really came into his own.
And of course Alfred is GODLY :)

I don't know whatever happened to Andersen Gabrych. I thought he did a pretty good job on the bat-books.
