You've done a great job Jonell, always been as helpful as possible and in running one of if not the best Forum that i know of.

Wow. This is a significant change. When I think about how much life has changed since first posting on the forum. "Plague of Frogs" ring any bells? A lot has happened over the past decade. I have seen a lot of people come and go and all of the good ones tend to stick around. That is all due to how well you have moderated this community. High quality I say.

I certainly understand how life changes effect involvement. I don't post near as much as I did at one point just due to time constraints and responsibilities. I'm glad to hear you intend to still post once in a while. Jonell and Hellboy go together like pancakes and syrup.

God's speed and good luck on your new directions/adventures/responsibilities.

Oh my gosh!! It will be difficult to imagine this board without you as mod' Jonell, but I know Gary will do a bang-up job!

On a side note, I remember back to when Jonell was just getting her feet wet with this online community page, even before it was hellboy.com. Memory does not serve currently as to its previous name, but I remember being around for those early, early days, and what fun days they were!!

Anyway, enough with the maudlin memories for now. Good luck, Gary! No pressure, but you have big shoes to fill! :-)

Goodbye, jnapper, you've set a fantastic precedent as moderator of the Hellboy forum over the years.

You will be missed! (even if you return as an occasional 'mere' poster)

We may not be close enough for hugs, but I'm always saddened when one of the great, longtime mods decides their time to mod is up.

Hi everyone,

I'll also be transferring the hellboy.com domain over to Mike and Christine... probably before the end of the year. As of today, the only item on the server is a little note saying that the website is being redesigned.

I am so glad to have 'met' all of you (via either the website or the forum)... thank you for twelve(+) years of sharing your enthusiasm and love for comics, Hellboy, and the BPRD with me.

To Mike and Christine, thank you again... for everything.

It looks like I'm not the only one that missed your post originally, but I wanted to thank you for everything you've done. You created a fun, nurturing environment that I've never seen duplicated on any other site/messageboard. It sucks that you're stepping back, but like Maija said, it's understandable. And I know Gary will do a fantastic job.
