I'm looking to collect some Riddler stories after reading Gotham Sirens #3. The character has always interested me but I haven't been in a financial position to buy anything containing Riddler till now.
So what I'm asking is what collected Riddler stories (aka Trades only) would you recommend? Does he have a "Best of" book like they have done for The Joker and Batman (Best Joker/Batman stories ever told) |

Not as many trades that center around him, but you should look into "Hush", "Detective", "Death & The City" and "Private Casebook". Also look for "Batman: Featuring Two-Face and the Riddler" and "Gotham Underground" which I believe features the Riddler. Individual books to get include "Run, Riddler Run", "Batman/Judge Dredd: The Ultimate Riddle", "The Riddle Factory", Detective Comics Annual #8, The Batman Chronicles #2 or 3 and Detective Comics # 705-707 and Batman #452-454.
As to the Scarecrow, there is the following. "Batman: Fear-A Legends Of The Dark Knight Halloween Special", "Knightfall" volumes one and two, "The Long Halloween", Batman Annual #19, Batman #457-458, #523-524, "Scarecrow & Two Face: Year One", "As The Crow Flies", "The Joker's Asylum" and "Scarecrow Tales". |

Does anyone know where you can find the Riddler as a good guy? It has him listed as "good" here http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Riddler .

From Detective Comics #822 I think, thats when he first becomes a private investigator. Any comics/events that take place after that issue usually have Riddler as a good guy. However in Gotham City Sirens #1 it was hinted that he may be becomming bad again.

Some of Riddler's best stories are not in trades, and I feel I have to mention them:
Dark Knight, Dark City (Batman #452-454) (perhaps the best Riddler story) Brave and the Bold #183 (very forgotten underrated little story) There are probably other issues worth mentioning that I can't think of right now. Riddler's only best-of book: "Batman: Featuring Two-Face and the Riddler" (came out round Batman Forever of course) Riddler's current origin: 1995's Detective Comics Annual #8 (says "Year One" on it)
