It's a matter of personal preference. A lot of us love Williams work, some folks don't.

^Exactly. You can't all expect people to have good taste. People buy Loeb's Rulk books every month, I can't control it.

sometime it's a little hard to follow but that's only because the panels are so... unique. I wish other people would try to do panels like JHW

The art is fantastic!!! This run in Detective will be talked about years from now as one of the classics.

i love JH's work on my computer screen, but when actually flipping through the comic in my lcs its all meh to me.

I loved it. Just read the first issue with him on it so far but I found it really nice :)

Williams is producing the most beautiful looking comic art currently being published IMO. His work is stunning and perfectly compliments Rucka's story.

I love JH Williams art on Detective. As a new reader to the Bat titles it has really hooked me. I read all the other titles before Detective as my comic store was out of it. I was already enjoying the titles, but Detective just blew me away. It was different and fresh; this was all largely because of Williams art. Its unique and it makes me want more after every issue.
