Hey gang, we want a lettercol in the back of the Beasts of Burden comic that we're doing with Evan Dorkin and Jill Thompson. Beasts debuted as a series of short stories in the Dark Horse Book of Hauntings and the following 3 volumes. So some of you have read the early stories, two of which gained Eisner Award noms. The new series is fantastic. Really great stuff.
If you're willing to write in to the lettercol, please email Freddye Lins at freddyel @ darkhorse . com with your street address. Put "Beasts lettercol" in the subject line, and we'll get the first ten or fifteen people preview copies of #1.
If you want to write in just based on the shorts you read in my anthologies, that'd be great too. Address letters to Freddye as well.
Beasts appears on the cover of the current Previews catalog.

Along with the Hellboy tales, those were my favourite stories in the Books of..i was hoping they'd be collected someday or even some new stories, so I'm all over this.

Very much looking forward to this title. The shorts in the Dark Horse horror HC's were excellent!

Sent my letter off...I really enjoyed these stories more than I orginally cared to admit !

Humanized animals that still have some less-than-savory animal foibles...lol...poignant ending to "Stray"..good fun.

I hope I'm not too late, I LOVE Beasts of Burden. My LCS operator told me to stop asking for it until it was solicited.
