Marvel Captain America Captain America Reborn Captain America White (It's on my pull list, even though there's one issue) Others Buffy the Vampire Slayer Angel Fables Jack of Fables Halloween (Though I'm not sure that's still happening)

I keep telling myself that I'm just going to stick to Green Lantern, Green Lantern Corps, and Blackest Night this summer to protect my measly budget--but it almost always fails.

Let's see... My pull list is..
Detective Comics Gotham Sirens Justice League: Cry for Justice JLA JSA Powergirl Wonder Woman JLA, JSA, and Wonder Woman I'm iffy on at the moment. I'm disappointed McDuffie's leaving JLA but I'm excited with JL: CfJ and where it's headed, so if it's good I'll probably be sticking with JLA. I'm iffy on Wondy because Simone doesn't seem to do the power-house characters as well as she does the more down to earth street level characters; and while her run on Wonder woman started out strong I'm finding myself enjoying it less and less with each new issue.

I just recently made a "full" commitment to buying in trade format and I've whittled my pull list down to about 5 monthly DC/Marvel titles:
Batman & Robin, Detective Comics, R.E.B.E.L.S. I dropped Batman Confidential with the start of this new arc as I needed to drop the book and don't like Clarke's art. If the story gets good reviews I can pick up the trade. From Marvel I'm getting monthly: Exiles, Guardians of the Galaxy. And I'm going to try out Black Panther when the new creative team starts with issue #7. I also pull a couple independent books: Sherlock Holmes and Four Eyes (although it's hardly monthly right now). Books I'm trade-waiting on: Green Lantern/Corps, etc. I'm going to start getting Secret Six in trades, but haven't yet. Possibly Red Robin & Batgirl, reviews-dependent (although I did purchase and enjoy the first issue of RR) Daredevil, X-Factor, Ghost Rider (Aaron's run), Thor. Chew |
