In BTAS dick hardly ever apeared, when he did he was already a juvenile, and later in robin reckoning it explained his absence was due to the fact he went to college.
at the time censorship prevented the series from having a child fight crime, but in gotham knights there was no problem at all portraying a kid tim drake as robin, and both him and babs had more screen time then dick. So would you like to see a new series based on ealier robin years with batman ? even if it is a short one with the basic 13 episodes they do this day ? i would really like to see dick in the begginning. |

So long as it's virtually the same creative team as the one from BTAS.
And censorship? I don't recall that being a valid reason for not having Dick around much as Robin.

Batman: the Animated Series is one of the best cartoon series, perhaps ever. If they got the same team back on a new series, and made the animation look, you know, not stupid (like The Batman), I'd be all for it.

Get the same team back from TAS, and I could care less if it's Grayson as Robin, or Nightwing. I would be up for it. Absolutely!

Nightwing or Robin they should just have series that fills in all the gaps in the whole DCAU. Show the years in between BTAS and Batman Beyond in more detail, the history of the Green Lanterns, the Flash all those characters in Justice League Unlimited that never got complete back stories. Someone get Bruce Timm!!

Honestly, Batman cartoons have been kind of played out. If they did make another one, I'd like to see focus on characters that have never shown up in animation before.
