I just picked up the Broken City trade by Brain Azzarello at Midtown Comics in NYC. It's signed by both Azzarello and the artist, Eduardo Risso. Even has two little pieces of paper printed by Midtown saying that the signatures are real.

If I decided to sell this, what would you guys suggest asking for it? It's in pretty much perfect condition.

I'm no expert, but i doubt that it's worth any more than what you paid for it - Midtown know what they're doing. But you never know, you might find someone on ebay willing to pay more for it. There's always somebody somewhere who wants these things.

I'm not interested in buying a signed copy but how was the story and art? This book keeps coming up on my amazon recommendations but there always seems to be another book I want more. Was it any good?

I really liked it. It was like 100 Bullets, but with Batman. I would definitely recommend it.

It is one of my favs too.

Don't pay more than 15 dollars for it though.

I was lucky and found the six single issues in a second hand comic store for 1 euro each.

so I paid 6 euro for this story in total.

It's a great read. But i feel this reminds me of the azz's work on superman, it is very dark and dreary. it;s a very very serious batman story no room for humour.

but well worth a read. The art is gritty and works well within the batman settings.

I don't know what 100 Bullets was like. Was it like a Gun-Fu film? Crime Noir-ish?
