Wikipedia claims the October 2008 DC Nation said spoilers:
"The owl and the butler are the same person." It seems to me, though, that Alfred is a little too old to be running around in tights.
end of spoilers

My main interest is Creeper but the rest of the new line-up is interesting as well.

I'm getting this, The Outsiders have always been my favorites, and this seems like a back to basics approach that this book needs after all the mess.

if they want to go obscure how about Henri Ducard

Yeah, I suppose he could be wearing a costume simply to conceal his identity, but... that would be a little weird.

That would be amusing. Didn't he sport a beard, though? I mean, yeah, either Alfred and Ducard could shave, but their perceived age is a problem. This guy in the cowl looks pretty young.

I just can't see that happening. Alfred as Owlman? What happened to his moustache? That, and why did they show Alfred's cufflink in the solicit for the Batman and the Outsiders Special?

Don't most of these members already know that Bruce Wayne is Batman, since they've all worked with him before?

Well I've geared up and added this and the entire Battle for the Cowl checklist to my pull list. There have been a lot of shake ups in this team, but I'm looking forward to giving it a fair shot as they fulfill the Dark Knight's final wishes. I also enjoy what the new writer has been doing on GLC.

....plus Owlman is awesome.

I meant that he looks awesome and the fact that he's going to be in the book is cool. However, if he does turn out to be awesome then that's what I meant instead .
