Default Dick Grayson: Healing With His Love

Has anyone else noticed the consistent attraction to "women in trouble" that Dick Grayson has? It's a bit of a "knight in shining armor" type of pathology that he seems to find himself attracted to women who are in some sort of trouble that he can help...with his love.

Starfire: Former slave from an alien world
Liu: Bad girl who deflowered Nightwing
Oracle: Finally develops a relationship with her after she's in a wheelchair.
Tarantula: Unstable nutjob who wants to be a superhero
The Huntress: Damn near unstable nutjob who is a superhero
Cheyenne Freemont (Nightwing 2): Fashion designer with superpowers who is still in trouble

In contrast, he was the only Titan who seemingly had no interest in Wonder Girl. Why? Because she was the strongest member on the team from a race of warrior women. She wasn't troubled and didn't need help. She didn't need to be healed by his love. Similarly the med student/superintendent Clancy. She had her life together so their relationship never gelled. No love healing needed. Flamebird had a mad crush on him, but she's an emotionally stable superhero, so she doesn't need love-healing. Neither did Jonni Quick.

Thoughts? Anyone on the love parade I forgot? And no, I didn't include his second marriage because he wasn't really attracted to her and Supergirl is underage and as the second most powerful person on the planet he wouldn't be attracted to her anyway. And I'm much too mature for double entendre jokes about his name, which is why this post isn't called "Dick Healing."

Yeah, writers really thought this through about each characters love life...well I'm hoping they maintain the consistency of simliar characterisitics in love interests. I wonder if they got files for each character with a list of what each character is personally attracted to.

Never noticed nightwing has so many hero ladies. Has like more than bruce...and they call him the billionaire playboy.

Maybe it's because he is a hero, he is always looking to save someone, even subconsiously.

True, by the same token it also means he'll never be with an equal and when that person is "helped" his attentions may fade.

It's because Dick is a man-whore, and we all know the victim is the easiest mark.
