Default Ghost Rider #30 discussion

Spoilers ahead!

Another great issue from Aaron, although this time focusing on Danny Ketch and Zadkiel, shedding more light on the connection between them. It seems Zadkiel is playing Danny for quite the fool...... perhaps a turn of events will lead Danny back to Johnny's side in the near future?

And the Ghost Rider Survival Squad (TM Jason Aaron) starts to form........ and there's only five of them left! I somehow think that number will be less by the time this story is over. I hope we get to see more of them in future though, there's certainly a lot of potential there. Can't wait to see the Ghost Rider on a shark!

Artwork is very suited to this comic, in my opinion. I know a lot of fans are divided on Huat's efforts, but I really have warmed to his style, and I think it really suits the dark, yet odd tone that this series strives for.

I've always been a fan of Aaron's writing, and Huat's artwork is starting to grow on me a bit.

I can't get into the story because I find the art to be grotesque.

And not in an entertaining way.

Ghost Rider is a different kind of book, certainly not mainstream. And it needs a different kind of artwork to match it. I know Huat's work mightn't be to everyones liking, especially if he was doing Spider-Man, or Avengers, but for an offbeat book like Ghost Rider, I think he's doing a great job.

I dont like Zadkiel's look at all. He's looks very Gargoyl-ish.

What do you want him to look?

Like an angel, less demonic if he's supposed to be the black ops type of angel. But im just assuming that God made him look ugly once he closed the gates of heaven.

The art has grown on me. At first, it was a little off putting, but I've decided I really like it and it fits the writing well.
