Yeah, something crazy like that. Specifically, DC Universe #0.

I think what he meant was someplace outside the regular Batman titles where you might not think to look.

exactly
so is this issue worth buying or perhaps reprinted in one of the morrison hardcovers?
if i remember correctly it's just a few scattered previews of the dc events,or something of the like

i'm trying to get the whole morrison run so i can re-read the thing as a whole, and i thought this was in 52,but after searching through them at my lcs,i only found 2 that are batman centric

long story short,i knew i was missing a piece of this story

thanks again

^ I agree

If anyone thinking of tracking this issue down bear in mind the relevant scene is only about four pages or something. you'd be fine just searching for scans or something

i take that to mean that it's not in either the "and son" or "black glove" books?
well i agree with you then!
what about the 52 stories? were they reprinted with the trades?

with a story set up like "r.i.p." you need to get the whole arc

52 is reprinted in trades but its not relevant to RIP so you can save a bit of green.

DCU 0 is fitty cents. Basically, it's a souped-up marketing device, but it's also somewhat useful for the intro to Final Crisis. And a nice little story in itself about the return of Barry Allen from being one with the universe

The first printing was fifty cents, but that quickly sold out. Subsequent printings were usual price ($2.99?) It's hard telling what it sells for as a back issue.

The couple pages with the dead man's hand were in last year's free comic book day book.
