Dick the devil?
Ok, maybe it's just me or maybe someone else has pointed this out somewhere and I just missed it but....when reading through the last issue of Batman, did anyone else find that shot of Nightwing holding the cape & cowl as perhaps being a bit devil-like?
As I was reading the facing page, I couldn't help but look ahead to the next page and...from the corner of my eye, I thought "It's the devil." Sure, I thought it was odd that the "devil" was drawn in mostly blue & shadow rather than red & shadow but...before I actually got to that shot, thats what I was thinking. Once I took a "straight-on" look, I knew it was Nightwing holding Batman's cape & cowl, but...look at it again without that knowledge: It's kind of devil-like the way the cape flows behind him (I swear I've seen at least one shot of Mephisto like that over at Marvel) Anybody else at least see how I see that or is it just me? |

Even if you squint your eyes really tight and pretend blue is red and...
Yeah, I figured it was just me and...as I stated...it was only at first glance. Anyway, thanks for the opinions. |
