Default Batgirl/Oracle Question

Are there any single issues out there that cover Barbara's post-traumatic experience with the Joker crippling her? Anything that bridges the gap between her recovery and becoming Oracle? Anything covering Dick's reaction to this?

I know there's a Oracle: Year One Batman Chronicles comic out there but I've yet to pick it up. Don't know if it traces some of this material. I just find it odd that she rarely is mentioned or shown until Sword of Azrael.

Batman chronicles issue 5. Oracle : year one. The last story by Kim Yale before she died of breast cancer.

Excellent. So this is the only thing? Is Dick in this?

Nightwing Annual #2 features flashbacks of Dick and Barbara over the years, including one that takes place shortly after Barbara is crippled.

IIRC, Oracle was created by John Ostrander and Kim Yale and first appeared in Suicide Squad.

IIRC, there may have been a story or two in 'Showcase' that was about Barbara recovering from her injuries, but it's highly possible that I'm confusing it with the Batman Chronicles story...

Showcase 94 #12 featured a story about Barbara dealing with being in a chair. Dick appears in the story which has flashbacks to where she learned how to defend herself in a wheelchair.
