I just don't think that the glider-cape takes anything away though.

I think the glider cape, *so long as it is restricted to gliding*, is absolutely fine. It can even be used in conjunction with the grapple gun or Batarang line - use the grapple to get up to a suitable height for a decent glide, and/or attach the grapple to a moving object and use the borrowed forward velocity to keep gliding like a kite. E.g., attach it to an elevated train or to a truck going in the right direction.
The minute he starts attaching motors to it (as opposed to swapping it out for a paraglider or ultralight, which he has used in the past including Year One), or being able to effortlessly find thermals and fly around indefinitely, it gets to be too much, though. |
