Okay, so I just read it and think its FAN-freakin-TASTIC. Bermejo's work is particularly beautiful.
But I do have one story question [SPOILER WARNING] ... ... ... When Joker meets up with superpimp Riddler, what is in the briefcase Riddler stole for him? We see Joker running away with it later on, but do we ever learn its contents? Or why he wanted it? Maybe I'm just missing something and it's beside the point. |

We never did learn it's contents, just that he was looking to do something that would atttract Batman's attention, so I guess it was some top secret weapon of Mass destruction developed by the Government or something like that (Hence Riddler's comments about it being impossible to steal).

It was Marsellus Wallace's soul.

actually, after re-reading it seems like an homage to Pulp Fiction more than anything. I think you may be right in referencing that flick. As to whose soul it is, maybe Harvey Dent's?
Seems like Harvey wants what's in that case pretty badly once the meet up at the Zoo happens. |

It was just a way to introduce the Riddler I guess.
