Default Action Figures

Do you collect Batman action figures? If so, what do you have?

And if you don't collect them, is there any certain reason, ie money?

I do, kinda sorta. I haven't bought one in a while but then, I haven't exactly been flush in a while either and comics comes before toys in the disposable income budget.

I've got a Super Powers Batman, movie Batman from 1989, Quick Change Bruce Wayne from 1990, a couple of different Gotham Knights Animated Batmans, a 12" Animated Batman, those Japanese Batman figures that DC Direct imported, the Mattel Zip Line Batman, DC Direct's Golden Age Batman, Silver Age Batman and Robin Set, and their Dark Knight Returns Batman, the first Mattel figure from The Batman and one of the maquettes from Justice League Unlimited, a Batman Begins Batman, and the Jim Lee Batman from Hush.

I'm probably forgetting something in there.

I've also got that Edward Risso Batman Black and White statue and the DKSA Batman and Catgirl statue but they're not really action figures so I guess they don't count to the list. I want to get the New Frontier Batman, the Killing Joker set, and possibly the Wagner Trinity Batman. I haven't yet scene the ASBAR Batman figure in person to decide either way about that one.

I've given up buying action figures, just because I can only display them for so long before getting sick of the sight of them and boxing them away.

That being said, I love looking at them in comic shops. There are so many really incredible DC figures these days. I don't remember this being the case 10 years ago when I first got into comics.

I don't like tossing away my cash on plastic figurines very often so I only buy the really high quality, good looking ones. I've got the HUSH Batman, Catwoman, Joker, and Huntress, as well as Silver-Age Batman and the 13" Batman and Catwoman DC Direct figures but that's it.

I've got a larger weakness for Wonder Woman and Catwoman figures, but even then I still tend to be very selective in the ones I get. Most shops around here charge 16 dollars for a well made action figure, I don't like spending that kind of money thoughtlessly, after all I could spend it on comic books instead!
