Azreal is in "Knightfall" and "No Man's Land". "Prodigal" only has Jean Paul for one page, while the rest is just Dick and Tim with a little of Bruce. Yes, technically it was done for the fans and it was also done to show why Dick wasn't ready to be Batman yet. As well as set up for the new artists as Mike Manley and Brett Bevlins were ending their run to be replaced by Kelly Jones and Barry Kitson respectively. It's not a bad story overall and helped to set the stage for Nightwing's solo series.

Been reading a bunch of Batman trade paperbacks lately. The Killing Joke, Hush, Hush Returns, Knightfall II...nothing is better than a Batman story arc.
