Default Couple Questions.

OK well i got a couple of questions for some of the older batman fans.

What is up with Zero Hour? I've heard people talk about it and i have read the wikipedia take on it, but im still uncertin whats up with it.

In countinuity we put "The Long Holloween" after Year One. However from what i have read in between Year One and Long Hollween there are 3 arcs that should be read; Batman and the Monster Men, Batman and the Mad Monk, and Batman: The Man Who Laughs. Are these just bad storys or do people just not get the connection or don't know?

Is Batman: Black and White worth the buy and read? I don't hear very much about these arcs from anyone on the boards so i was just woundering.

Thanks for the Help.

Nothing much. It was basically rearranging the furniture a bit, and tydying up some of the mess Crisis On Infinite Earths had made (and in places making that mess worse). It is pretty much entirely ignorable by now.

The main problem here is that there is about five or six or so years worth of stories that take place during Batman's first two years. Read the stories, enjoy them, don't break your head about what happens before what.

Absolutely. They aren't in continuity (which would account for them not being mentioned very often), but they are very good indeed.

'Mm,' she agreed. 'He's a little bit dodgy in the same way that rats are a little bit covered in fur."
