I recently developed an strong interest in the Dynamic Duo but I have very little luck finding stories featuring the Dark Knight and Boy Wonder as a team...
Can anyone suggest any good stories featuring Batman and Robin working together?

Back when Chuck Dixon was writing Detective Comics (in the 1990's?), he routinely had Batman and Robin working together and I think he did a great job.

I guess it depends on what Robin you're talking about, but if you mean Tim Drake... I may be wrong, it's been a long time, but I believe from the time Tim first became Robin right on through to Knightfall, the two of them worked together pretty consistently.

Dick Grayson would be preferred... but anyone Robin is good. I really just want stories that better explores that Father/Son... Batman/Robin realtionship

If you want to see Bruce and Dick together (when he was Robin), I'd recommend the recent Showcase volumes.

I haven't seen that many graphic novels or TPbs featuring Bruce and Dick (apart from Dark Victory, Robin Year One, Fortunate Son and the Tales of the Demon).
For Jason Todd I'd recommend Nightwing Year One, and a Death in the Family. For Tim Drake go for A Lonely Place of Dying, and most of the Batman titles from then onwards (Nightfall, Prodigal, Contagion, Legacy, No Man's Land, War Games etc). I can't think of any 'stand out' books which show them both working together, but I must have some. |
