Okay, so I go to buy Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told. It was published in 1997 and has a bunch of reviews that explain pretty well what it consists of. But then I find The Joker: Greatest Stories Ever Told, which has no reviews and came out June of 2008. I thought it was a reissue, but I checked the page numbers. The older compilation has almost 100 more pages than the newer one. My question is this: does anybody own the newer compilation or know what it contains? I know that the earlier compilation focused mostly on the 50's and 60's with some stories from the 70's and 80's. Is this newer material? Is it the older compilation chopped down?
Any help would be appreciated! |

I think that the old one was out of print. The new one is good if you don't have the Greatest Joker's stories ever told but still it's very poor compare to the original.

I own The Greatest Joker Stories ever told, and it came out in 1988, in hardcover. It is the one with 288 pages.
The one in your first link.

Does it have any stories that the original doesn't, or is it just stories that were in the original?
