Default Absolute Dark Victory?

I've held off buying a copy of Dark Victory as I already have the lovely Absolute Long Halloween and really wanted an Absolute Dark Victory to match. Does anyone know if DC has any plan to release it in the absolute format?

given that I, and I think others, feel DV is even better than TLH....they really should...I haven't bought this yet for similar reasons.

I was gonna buy it the other day as I fancied reading through them both, but I thought they'll only go and announce the Absolute edition as soon as my copy arrives.

I've been holding up on getting this for the same reason. Hurry up DC!

me too. i read a borrowed copy of DV. i couldn't find any more hardcovers, so I've put off buying the softcover.

Is DC seriously considering putting an Absolute DV out? If so, sign me up for one.

This is my point. You would think that anyone who buys Absolute Long Halloween would want the matching Absolute Dark Victory. If they don't release it I can only assume it's due to Absolute Long Halloween not selling well enough. I really hope they do though, cos my ALH is getting lonely.

Agreed.

When in Rome > Blades > Dark Victory > Long Halloween > Hush > Haunted Knight

Blades is the best Tim Sale batman work. It's three parter in The Collected LotDK tpb and one of the coolest little Batman stories I've read. CavalierII will become one of your favourite "villains"

Also, I think Haunted Knight is at least as good as Hush.

James Robinson. It is one of the stories collected in Tales of the Batman by Tim Sale.

Anyone have an update to this?

It doesn't appear to be scheduled for release this year so I wouldn't hold my breath.

But while we're at it, how does Absolute Long Halloween look. I know all Absolutes are amazing, but how does the art and extras compare to other ones.

I would only buy an Absolute edition if it had both Dark Victory and Long Halloween. I liked both, but was not blown away by them.
