Thanks. :) Between school, work, home, and derby, there was precious little time for anything but sleep. Now, I'm on break, and work is slow. Our house finally got put in order for the holidays, so no worries about that. And derby is every other available second. :)

But I'm glad to have some time to hang out for a bit. :)

Bowmore is awesome, though I prefer a 17. I've been dying to get my hands on a Bowmore 31 but I can't seem to get past the $250 price tag. My birthday is coming up and I might just splurge.

I wish that I could send you a bottle of the 31, but my car payment is due. Damn! 31 years! That's gotta be some flavorful spirits!

Four years ago James Sime introduced me to the world of Dickel Whiskey. Not many bars serve it, which is a shame, but it's a perfect mixing whiskey with coke. I've only found two bars in LA which carry it, which means they get a lot of business from me.

We went to a really good soul food type restaurant the other night and they have Dickel. It's even their special on Wednesdays, I think. I tried the ginger drop instead this time around, but made a mental note. It's one of my favourite places to eat anyway so the opportunity will arise soon enough.

Nah, contrary to popular belief, I don't drink enough to bother buying off the Internet. This was a point of purchase sale item at the local drug store. CVS I think. I think I was going in looking for bandaids. Came out with booze.

Bit pricey for my tastes, although he used to get free bottles of stuff that would often end up at my place. I still have a bottle of soy vodka I've been too... afraid isn't really the right word, but I still haven't cracked it open.
