How do fans feel about the [forgotten] Magnus storyline? He should come back as a villian obsessed with Jessica. In the last issue of Spider-Woman, he had taken her from her body , then cast a spell so she would be forgotten. I always thought that was a little sinister.

I always thought that was an odd ending as well and certainly one that could be easily turned into something less friendly and more sinister. He might make for a good villain.

He could be held responsible for all of the confusing origins too.

Yeah but then again that would add another spanner.

I am referring to expanding some of Spider-Man rogue galleries unto other places, like Spider-Woman. And like all things Marvel is in the business of making money. So what's wrong with using characters from other places to would help Spider-Woman gain a bigger audience? Her original series began to decline mainly because of the lack of interest of some the writers placed to work on her series. Her succeeding series afterwards didn't bring a large enough audience to avoid cancellation. Yes I believe that Jessica Drew should be a part of the Spider-Family as Julia Carpenter has, along with the Black Widow. Both the Black Widow and Spider-Woman are two of Spider-Man's very first heroine partnerships. And if Chris Claremont was working on the Web of Spider-Man, for example, we might have seen both the Black Widow and Spider-Woman make an appearance as he was the only other writer who was interested in using the Black Widow in Spider-Man's world.

And I have only brought up a few of Spider-Man's villains who do not appear in his world on a regular basis to begin with. And a good example of where some of Spider-Man's rogue galleries have ended up are in the pages of Daredevil, Punisher, and Venom. So my question is why can't some of Spider-Man's rogue galleries move into the pages of Spider-Woman and Black Widow respectively? They might find a solution of defeating those adversaries in different ways than Peter Parker ever could. And a good example could be The Jackal(Miles Warren) whose origins began in the pages of Spider-Woman. Thus, I never understood why they never used him in the original Spider-Woman series.

I always feel funny about writers wanting to revisit/tweek/add to past stories and would prefer if they concentrate on something new.... maybe rather than Jess' past catching up with her she could work on something new and heroic like stopping some bad guys.
RIP Superman, see you in the reboot.

I'd like to see her return to England for a short time.

It would be cool to see if Jessica has any living relatives in England. As for potential enemies goes, here is one that would stick to her and Spider-Man:

I wouldn't mind that at all. It would be interesting to see her alongside Captain Britain, Meggan, etc.

Could you imagine if she had been apart of Excalibur?

Just to let everyone know who's interested, I'm learning some video software for capturing and editing and figuring out how to post. I've got one of the old Spiderwoman cartoons on vhs (a copy I bought at a dollar store years and years and years ago), Spiderwoman versus the Fly. I'll be putting the episode up in segments as I learn how to do that. Here in case anyone wants to see. I checked the imdb and I think Joan Van Ark of Knots Landing fame did the voice for Jessica.

My first introduction to the magnificent Carmine Infantino was in the pages of Spider Woman. His version of Jess was beautiful and just slightly...eerie which gave weight to the "To know her is to fear her..." tag on a lot of the covers.

It looks like Jess is going to get a good amount of page time during the Avengers Assemble leg of the Infinity Crossover. I'm looking forward to this a lot:
