    I know Caska from Berserk doesn't deserve top 10 mentioning but she is pretty damned good.

    She is second only to Griffith when Gatts joins the Hawks and continuilly improves to where she iis the Hawks' third best swordsman behind Gatts and Griffith (in that order).

    Yes, I know Berserk is not the only answer to everything anime/manga... :D

    How about Twilight Suzuka from Outlaw Star?

    She's not nearly the most powerful but I think she's one of the coolest characters.
