    Default Munky Doodles

I'm a massive Role-Playing Geek, and for years, I've been drawing my RPG Characters, friends' RPG characters, NPC's... pretty much anything I can get my hands on.
A friend of mine, Nel has recently opened a Deviantart site for me. There's only a few pixs there at the moment, but I've got an arseload more scanned and ready... it's just a matter of having the time.

    So there ya go.

Geez. You should do the art for the inside of the RPG books.

Ps. Munky Doodles, the tasty treat that's fun to eat!

    very, very nice Pol!
What have I always believed? That, on the whole, and by and large, if a person lived properly, not according to what any priests said, but according to what seemed decent and honest inside, then it would, at the end, more or less, turn out ok.

    Ta all.
I am really itching to add more stuff to this one... I have SO much stuff that needs to be up and about, but so far I'm just bewildered by the interface so far.
I really feel a need to add commentary to some of these.
    hrm.

Okie. Probably gonna put a bunch of stuff here, just until I get some time to sit down with a few dozen discs of images and my DA Account.

Next couple of pixs are from a dream a friend of mine had where he and some buddies of his (including me) turned into superheroes. This first one I've already posted on the Comm Board but for the sake of completeness, might as well plonk down here.

    Self portrait as 'PrimeApe'.

    More to follow.

Awesome, I like it lots. :)
For me it's tied between the Winged Paladin and the Young Chinese Man.

I have so much stuff that needs to be added to that site, however, having no net access at home, it's a slow and arduous process.
    Plus, I'm computer-dumb.

    Okie-dokie.
My friend Scott had a dream in which he, his wife and two of his friends (one of them being me) were superheroes, and one of his friends was a supervillain.

I drew a picture of me as the superhero PrimeApe. It lives here.

And now, here's some more sketches from that series of pixs.

First of all, Scott his own self, as Romanesque Superman-type 'Superion'.

    Okay, that's big. Hrm.
    *scratches head*
    Leave with me. I fix.
    hrm...

Next, Scott's wife, the lovely Amy (who has a thing for dragonflies and pirate wench attire) as the glamorous and incendiary, Firefly.

And last but by no means least, my wonderful friend Nel, who became the luminous speedster, Blue Streak.

    Got s'more pixs for ya.
These ones are from a Role-Playing Campaign some friends of mine are involved in. Victorian-era super-types bashing evil and challenging the unknown and all that tommyrot. Like League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, but without the gratuitous cameos from famous characters from novels and such.

First we have two-fisted monsterbashing clergyman, Damien, played by Scott.
My brief here was to draw a character who has the 'look' of Bruce Campbell without being a likeness or a portrait of Bruce Campbell.

Next up we have Jean-Marc Vitesse, ace daredevil driver/aviator type.
A bit anachronistic (probably more at home in the 20's or 30's) but the game's pretty anachronistic overall, so meh.
That said, in deference to 'Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines', I was compelled to give him a dastardly Terry Thomas moustache. Fnaarr!

Next up is Mister Smith, man of mystery from the Far East. He was a bit of a challenge because he had to be androgynous enough to have one of the other characters in the game try to chat him up, while still being recognisably male.
