Our dilemma is that we hate change and love it at the same time; what we really want is for things to remain the same but get better.

Moonstar's history is a bit lengthly and has about as many twists as Psylocke's.
She is one of the founding members of the New Mutants. At first her power was to 'pull' someones greatest fears from their mind and create a three-dimensional image of that fear. So if you were afraid of spiders then maybe she would make a giant spider appear. Like the other New Mutants her powers matured and became more advanced. Back then she was called Mirage.
The New Mutants along with the X-men once had an adventure where they went to Asgard. Dani became a Valkyrie, a group of females who would take fallen warriors to Valhalla. From this she gained the ability to 'see' when death was in a person's future as well as a flying horse. She left the New Mutants before they became X-Force. Later she showed up with the ability to cast psychic arrows.
Thats about all I can remember for now. I'm sure there is a lot left out.
Google "Dani Moonstar" I'm sure there is a lot of info out there.
One of my favorite characters.

And mine. I heart Dani Moonstar.Originally Posted by Deathstroke
I third that. I want her on an X-team (and not in the background as a advisor) so badly.
Besides her and Forge, were there any other Native American X-mutants?
She's shagging (having sex with) Xian, isn't she?
virtue untested is innocence
No, but she does seemed interested in that F.B.I. guy(can't remember his name).Originally Posted by Arvandor
Yeah, Thunderbird and Warpath. Native Americans aren't really the most under-represented ethnicity in the X-Universe.Originally Posted by gforce99

No. They were shown sitting arm-in-arm in one issue of UXM (#444), as a sign of their close friendship, but Claremont later clarified that there was nothing more to it than that. While Shan is a lesbian, Dani is at least bisexual, if not completely straight- she's been interested in Roberto, Jimmy Proudstar, and the aforementioned FBI agent in the past.Originally Posted by Arvandor

Dani rocks. Hope that stupid WWW(Worldwide Wanda Warp) Doesn't take her powers away. BTW has she ever learned to make her illusions solid? That was the ultimate potential of her powers unlocked by Professor X.

Sort of. In New Mutants annual #4, she was zapped by one of the High Evolutionary's machines, which amped up her powers and allowed her to make one illusion at a time solid; however, as soon as that person's fear or desire changed, it would disappear. (For instance, if she wanted a sports car more than anything in the world, she would have one... but if she then got a craving for a slice of chocolate cake instead, POOF! goes the car.) She had that until the New Mutants visited Asgard the second time, then when she reappeared in X-Force, it was gone without explanation and hasn't been referenced since.Originally Posted by jadegiant77
