And I haven´t forgotten about the Meglia and Pacheco lists.

I love Gulacy. One of my first favorite comic artists. But since he doesn't write his own stuff, collecting him runs more hot and cold than Mignola. (Recent Mignola, anyway.) Gulacy's drawn some amazing art for some bad books from time to time. But then he's also done some GREAT stuff, like very best James Bond comic book, "Serpent's Tooth" and all his Batman stuff with Doug Moench. I really wish he'd do Bond again. (Or that ANYONE would!)

And the "Art of" book is AMAZING. You're right, we do need one like that for Mignola. Thanks for the checklist, Jan. There's a lot on there I'm missing. How are the "Coldblood" and "Shanna" stories? Is it worth tracking down all those Marvel Comics Presents?

For Brisco and others - Do yourself a favor and get the 30th. Anniversary Edition of the graphic novel "Sabre" by Gulacy. It is not only the FIRST g.n. ever - it is the COOLEST ever.
