Magrat snapping and bitch-slapping the Queen of the Faeries near the end of Lords and Ladies.

Carcer getting beaten within an inch of his life, then dragged off to prison by Vimes at the end of Night Watch.

In a scene remarkably similar to the one near the beginning of the book, Lord Vetinari offers Reacher Gilt a government job, like he did with Moist. Gilt doesn't let him get past the "All you have to do is walk out that door and you'll never hear from me again" part before he runs for it, and ends up falling to his death, since the only thing on the other side of the door is a deep pit.

George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series had several but one that sticks out for me is when Daenerys' brother gets his "crown" after basically selling her to the horse chieftan. Dany's brother wanted his kingdom and his crown back so the horse lord obliges....
