When and why did Slade change his costume at one point and what made him go back to the orange one and can can anyone give me a couple pics of it.

He changed it around the time he got de-aged, I don't think there was a real reason given otherwise if I recall

It was just an attempt to make him more badass looking, it was the 90's after all. I liked the costume, but I knew it wouldn't last. I wish that they would have just modernized his classic costume a little bit. The big boot cuffs are about the only complaint I have with it.
Yeah, by the early 90's, the fanbase had shrunk and shifted older, and the youngest of the adult fans were often uncomfortable with superhero costumes that looked like costumes. They wanted trenchcoats, pouches, and lots of black clothes.Originally Posted by Forefinger

Deathstroke's costume is one of the most ridiculous things in comics.
I love Deathstroke's costume.
And the boots had a great panel of their own in Identity Crisis.
It is so ridiculous. Look! He is a pirate, a knight, a ninja and a commando, all at once.
Bizarre pattern on the face aside, the blue costume was kind of neat. Def better than his classic costume, which is even more crazy than classic Taskmaster.

Not sure of later issues of the book, but right before Cheshire bombed Qurac he switched to a black-and-blue version. It was switched back pretty quickly after the story and was explained that the switch was because he was undercover for Cheshire. Or something like that.Originally Posted by Murrocko

Damn. I want that costume back! It's way cooler than the current one. Orange and blue? Plus those boots must be so damn unwieldy and weigh like a ton!
Didn't he have two blue costumes? One with no mask (but a headband) in the early 20's of his series and then the one towards the end in the 50's/60's when he was de-aged?
Yes, I once owned an entire run of Deathstroke the Terminator. Shut up.
The last one wasn't too bad, as I recall. His mask looked like it had tire treads going across it or something. It was certainly a lot better than the orange and blue number.
Thus concludes the only time in my life I will ever talk about Deathstroke the Terminator's costume.

I don't really think we'll be seeing that blue costume in a long time, since DS been extremly over exposed since IDC.
and well he should be my friend.... and well he should be....
I think the headband costume was supposed to be black. All I know is that he really reminded me of Nick Fury.Originally Posted by Doug Strange
