I really dug Tuesday's SVU episode with Olivia on the phone with the kidnapped girl.

I'm glad to see this weeks Criminal Intent stars Vincent D'onofrio.

Court TV has bought the rights to all 13 episode of Law & Order: Trial By Jury. They'll begin airing them 7 - 9 pm Saturdays in December.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent may be moving, according to the Hollywood Reporter, from Sundays at 9 pm to Fridays at 10pm to get away from the ABC monster hit Desperate Housewives.

With NBC making the decision to now pull "Inconceivable" for the entire month of December (and very unlikely to bring it back at all), repeat episode of L&O: Criminal Intent will now air in the timeslot for the next three weeks. No word on the network's plans for November Sweeps.

'Stroke, thanks for the TBJ info. Now I'll have to find out where Court TV is on my cable system. I really think that show got the shaft and Tracy Kibre should take over for Jack McCoy on the "Original Recipe" version. I'm sure he still has a big fan base but, if this show's proved anything, nobody's irreplaceable.

I know the Friday night time slot probably doomed TBJ, but do you think NBC would have been more patient if the beloved Lennie Briscoe would have survived? If he could have taken his fan base over to TBJ, I think it might not have been such a quick exit.

TBJ had great possibilites to show us both sides of the legal chess match and use characters from all the other L&O shows.

About my favorite L&O "flavor" ("Original Recipe"), what does everyone think about new ADA Borgia? Please don't just use this opportunity to tee off on poor Elizabeth Rohm, but really give me your impressions of this new character (both personality/character and looks). IMHO, she looked nice in that bright blue outfit last night. When was the last time an ADA wore something besides neutral colors? :)

Bleh. Those are the episodes I don't want to see. Noth is much better.

I'm unimpressed with the new ADA, I just don't seem to care overly much about anything on the main show.

I like D'Onfrio is almost everything else he's done, but I HATE him on CI. His know everything character makes him seem like a CSI clone.

Have Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni had some kind of falling out? They've had very little screen time together this season on SVU, noticeabley less than in past seasons.

In the last 2 seasons of Svu it seems that it was only the 2 detectives that were getting the air time. Munch and tutuola weren't seen at all. Maybe now they spread the airtime around a little more.

They definitely need to give Belzer and Ice T more screen time. The last episode of SVU was about as close to a Tutuola episode as I can recall, and Hargitay was still the primary character. My all-time favorite SVU episode was one centered on Munch that had him tracking down the serial killer who fled to Canada.

    Dennis K,

I agree, that was an absolutely prime piece of TV programming. Richard Belzer was outstanding in that episode.

Really enjoyed seeing Richard Brooks back on "Original Recipe" as Paul Robinette (Stone's original ADA). Although it was a glorified cameo, his brief chat with Borgia before the arraignment was funny..."I hear you used to have my office"..."You were probably in high school then". Before all the babe ADAs, Robinette was the MAN and I feel he gets overlooked. Nice closing scene between him and McCoy. If he's an attorney handling capital cases in NYC, maybe his paths should cross with McCoy and Borgia more often.

Of course, I also feel that the show has been on long enough that they could have some former cases come back to haunt them. Maybe the criminal is out on parole or has served their sentence and they become involved in another new case. Or maybe they have to deal with a jailhouse appeal from a former criminal they put away. Or maybe, one of the people they've had committed to a mental facility escapes and kills again causing them to re-examine their original decision. Not everything needs to be "ripped from the headlines" or have a crazy twist in the last five minutes.
